COVID-19 Medicines Delivery Unit (CMDU)
The COVID-19 Medicines Delivery Unit (CMDU) service provides assessment and treatment for people who are at higher risk of becoming seriously unwell with COVID-19. The service ensures that eligible patients can be quickly identified and, where appropriate, offered antiviral medication to help reduce the risk of complications.
The CMDU service is delivered locally by GPSU in partnership with BrisDoc Healthcare Services. It works closely with GP practices, NHS 111 and hospital specialists to make sure patients receive timely support and clear information about their treatment options.
